## Description

Company Overview:

Nordic Homeworx is the exclusive distributor of Kährs, a renowned Swedish flooring brand, in the United Arab Emirates. We specialise in providing high-quality, sustainable flooring solutions to residential and commercial clients across Dubai and beyond. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional service, Nordic Homeworx is dedicated to enhancing living and working spaces through beautiful, durable flooring solutions.

Position Overview:

As the Procurement & Logistics Executive at Nordic Homeworx, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement, import, storage and distribution of materials supporting the company’s residential and commercial projects.

You will ensure products are ordered on commercially favourable terms, delivered on time and managed efficiently from supplier to warehouse and, ultimately, to the customer. Working closely with the Sales Team, you will provide strategic support on material availability, lead times and practical product or delivery solutions that help progress opportunities and support customer commitments.

With a strong commercial mindset, you balance product availability, cost, stock levels and business requirements. You also contribute to demand forecasting, stock planning and strategic projects aimed at improving supply-chain performance and efficiency. Through close collaboration with Sales, Projects, Warehouse, Finance and suppliers, you will help ensure that procurement and logistics activities reflect Nordic Homeworx’s values of trust, care, excellence and responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Manage the procurement of wood flooring and other products and services, primarily from Kährs of Sweden as well as other suppliers, ensuring materials are available when required and purchased on commercially favourable terms.

• Prepare, review and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and delegated authority levels.

• Develop and maintain a strong, strategic working relationship with Kährs, alongside relationships with other suppliers and service providers.

• Monitor supplier and service-provider performance and resolve issues relating to quality, pricing, availability, delivery or service.

• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency, reduce costs and strengthen supply reliability within the existing supplier framework.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

• Coordinate international and local shipments to ensure timely delivery to the warehouse and project sites.

• Ensure all import and export documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with applicable regulations across the UAE and wider GCC, including KSA.

Sales Support & Commercial Coordination

• Work closely with the Sales Team, providing timely and strategic guidance on stock availability, supplier lead times, incoming shipments and procurement options.

• Proactively identify suitable Kährs product alternatives, available stock, order timing or delivery solutions that help progress sales opportunities and meet customer requirements.

• Support the Sales Team in evaluating material options from a commercial and operational perspective, considering cost, availability, lead time and margin.

• Anticipate potential supply constraints and recommend practical solutions before they affect proposals, projects or customer commitments.

Forecasting & Stock Management

• Work with Sales, Projects and Warehouse to forecast material requirements based on the sales pipeline, confirmed projects, historical demand and supplier lead times.

• Translate forecasts into purchasing and stock plans that support business needs while minimising excess stock and shortages.

• Ensure material availability information is accurate, current and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor stock levels, movement, ageing and reorder requirements, recommending appropriate action where needed.

• Oversee stock management in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor, including receiving, storage, stock control and dispatch.

• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, stock reconciliations and effective inventory-management processes.
