## Description

My client is looking for a Payments Product Manager to join their digital product team in Dubai, owning the payments experience across seven major retail brands and multiple GCC markets.

This is a hands-on product role focused on improving payment performance, checkout conversion and the overall customer experience across cards, wallets, COD, BNPL and local payment methods.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and prioritize the payments product backlog from discovery through delivery and release.

• Drive payment initiatives across cards, wallets, COD, BNPL and local payment methods such as Mada.

• Analyse Payment Success Rate (PSR), authorization rates, declines, failures, drop-offs and retries to identify opportunities and root causes.

• Work closely with PSPs, payment gateways, acquirers and BNPL providers on integrations, incidents, performance and enhancements.

• Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Operations, Legal/Compliance and Brand teams to deliver payment improvements.

• Support payment launches and optimization across multiple GCC markets, currencies and payment methods.

• Own requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT and production release.

• Work on payment operations including chargebacks, disputes, reconciliation and settlement issues.

• Use data and SQL to investigate payment and checkout performance and make data-driven product decisions.

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership or a similar product/delivery role.

• 2+ years of hands-on payments, fintech or e-commerce checkout experience.

• Strong experience with payment gateways, PSPs, acquirers and/or BNPL providers.

• Good understanding of GCC payments, particularly cards, 3DS2, Mada, wallets and BNPL.

• Experience working across multiple markets, currencies and payment methods.

• Strong understanding of payment funnels, PSR, authorization, declines, retries and checkout conversion.

• Comfortable using SQL or analytics tools to investigate payment performance.

• Strong product execution skills with the ability to take initiatives from problem definition through delivery and UAT.

• Experience working directly with external payment partners.

• Good understanding of card payment flows, gateway integrations, authentication, settlement and PCI-DSS.

Ideal background:

Candidates from payments/fintech, large-scale e-commerce, marketplaces or digital retail environments, particularly those with strong exposure to the GCC payments ecosystem.
