## Description

ROLE SUMMARY :

The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the commodities business (Nuts & Dried Fruits, Agro Commodities, Spices, Dairy Commodities) by developing customer relationships, driving sales, identifying trading opportunities, and ensuring achievement of budgeted revenue and profitability targets. The role involves sales of commodity products, market analysis, business development, and account management across assigned territories. Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager to ensure achievement of sales budgets, customer coordination and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve budgeted Sales, Income for assigned territory.

• Manage the existing customer base and identify, create, develop new market opportunities and expand customer base. Visiting customers regularly and catering to their requirements.

• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure timely product delivery.

• Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, and market intelligence updates.

• Follow up on customer payments and resolve customer concerns.

• Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

Graduate degree

• 1-3 years sales experience in agro commodities / nuts and dried fruits trading /dairy commodities

• Reasonable understanding of the sales proces

• Good English and Arabic communication

• Negotiation

• Customer orientation

• Willing to extensively travel in the market
