## Description

MOBCO Construction is seeking a highly experienced Project Director with strong expertise in finishing works and fit-out to lead the delivery of major construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing high-end finishing and fit-out works for mosques, luxury hotels, high-rise towers, and other prestigious developments. The candidate must demonstrate a strong track record of delivering complex projects to the highest standards of quality, workmanship, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project activities, with a strong focus on finishing works, interior fit-out, and final handover.

• Oversee the execution of mosque, hotel, and high-rise tower projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and compliance with approved designs.

• Direct project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and specialist fit-out contractors.

• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, interior design, and finishing activities to ensure seamless project execution.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, productivity, and overall performance.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations.

• Manage client relationships, consultant coordination, technical issues, variations, and project risks.

• Oversee snagging, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and final project handover.

• Drive timely decision-making and resolve site challenges to maintain project progress and quality.

• Ensure effective commercial management, cost control, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; a Master’s degree is an advantage.

• Minimum 25 years of construction industry experience, with substantial experience in senior project leadership roles.

• Strong and demonstrable expertise in finishing works, interior fit-out, and high-quality architectural finishes.

• Proven experience delivering major mosque, luxury hotel, or high-rise tower projects.

• Experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, construction methodologies, interior specifications, quality assurance, and fit-out execution.

• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, specialist subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.

• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, contracts, procurement, and project management systems.

• Familiarity with Saudi building regulations, local construction practices, and international quality standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification is an advantage.

• Must be based in Riyadh or available to relocate to Riyadh.
