Job Overview

Whizz HR is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a construction team in Ajman. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical installation, site execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise electrical works at construction sites.

• Handle installation of LV electrical systems, lighting, power distribution, DBs, cables, and electrical equipment.

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other MEP teams.

• Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.

• Conduct testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Coordinate with the site team to ensure electrical works are completed within project timelines.

• Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection requests, and documentation.

• Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical installations.

• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, authority requirements, and HSE standards.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience: 2–6 years of experience in electrical construction / MEP contracting.

• Strong hands-on experience in electrical installation and site execution.

• Good knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems.

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and layouts.

• GCC construction experience will be an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
