Job description:

Site Engineer - Interior

We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Fitout Engineer to manage our ongoing projects and help build up the business.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise all renovation and fitout projects

• Design, prepare and plan the objectives, scope, resources and budget of a project

• Perform site inspections and prepare quotations & BOQ accordingly in coordination with the design team

• Participate in the sales process to communicate work scope with clients and close deals

• Preparing and managing all project documentation

• Supervise job progress and inspect various phases of work on the construction site

• Perform continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes

• Review & prepare material submittal as per required format & standards

• Document non-conformance to specifications and design and participate in determining appropriate resolution

• Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

• Involved in all phases of the project including documentation, procurement, and execution

• Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers

• Coordinate with and manage suppliers

• Manage supplier contracts

• Manage and supervise operations team

• Communicate with client and other stakeholders

• Monitor, manage & report project performance

Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving license

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

• Excellent analytical and reasoning skills - solution oriented

• Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus) - written and verbal

• Proficient in MS Office

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (PMP is a plus)

• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience working as project manager (Fitout and/or renovation is preferred)

• Experience with Project Management
