Reporting directly to the Group COO, you will shape and execute the group’s technology vision—defining the IT strategy, establishing modern governance frameworks, and driving digital enablement across diverse business units. You will lead a high-performing team covering IT Operations, Applications, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity to ensure seamless, secure, and business-aligned service delivery. Key Responsibilities • Strategic IT Leadership: Formulate and execute long- and short-term IT strategies, technology roadmaps, and enterprise architecture aligned with group business goals. • Budget & Financial Governance: Manage the group IT budget, oversee capital and operational expenditure, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure maximum ROI on technology investments. • Infrastructure & Applications Management: Oversee the deployment, performance, and optimization of enterprise applications, network infrastructure, databases, and IT service desk operations. • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity controls, data governance, backup/disaster recovery protocols, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory and data protection standards. • Vendor & Partnership Management: Select, negotiate with, and manage strategic IT vendors, managed service providers, and software partners. • Project Delivery & Business Alignment: Lead cross-functional IT initiatives, application integration, and digital transformation projects across group operations. • Team Leadership: Direct and mentor direct reports (Application Specialists, IT Admins, Security Engineers), setting clear performance objectives and fostering continuous professional development.
