Passengers are about to stop carrying their bags to the airport. LPort is building the service that makes that possible in Riyadh which is check-in and baggage acceptance completed at the passenger's home or hotel, hours before they travel. We are hiring the launch team. You will be among the first Duty Managers in the Kingdom to command a check-in operation outside the terminal, working on airline systems and setting the operating standard others will follow. Role Description: We are hiring 2 Duty Managers. The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for overseeing daily airport service operations and ensuring high-quality traveler experiences. This role includes supervising front-line staff, monitoring service delivery at key touchpoints, and resolving operational issues in real time. The Duty Manager coordinates with internal teams, airline partners, and airport stakeholders to maintain smooth passenger flows, manage schedules, and handle escalations. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, implementing service standards, managing incident reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures. The Duty Manager also supports continuous improvement by gathering feedback, recommending process enhancements, and training team members. What you will do Running the shift • Approve the daily operating plan and allocate personnel, vehicles and equipment against confirmed bookings, flight schedules and operating volume • Oversee the readiness of sites, vehicles, systems and equipment throughout the shift • Supervise shift supervisors and confirm operations are executed in line with the approved plan Performance • Monitor service performance against agreed service levels and acceptance cut-off times, and address any shortfall in resources or capability • Review exceptions and incidents, implement corrective action, and approve the shift report and performance indicators Exceptions and incidents • Take decisions in exceptional operational situations, including irregular operations • Manage and escalate incidents in accordance with approved procedures • Track open cases through to resolution or structured handover to the following shift Stakeholders and compliance • Act as the operational point of contact for airlines, airport authorities, security and ground handling providers during the shift • Ensure compliance with airline procedures, the Security Operations Manual, standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory requirements What you bring • 5–8 years in airport operations, ground handling or a comparable operational environment • Proven command of a shift: allocating resources, holding standards, deciding under pressure • Leadership and people management, including coaching supervisors and frontline teams • Working knowledge of aviation safety and security practice and incident management • Comfortable with operational dashboards and management systems • Fluent in Arabic and English • Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, aviation management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Eligible to obtain the required security clearance What we offer • Structured shifts and a professional operating environment with competitive salary range. • A founding position in a new service, with room to grow as it scales.
