## Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QC Welding Inspector to monitor and ensure the quality of welding and fabrication activities at project sites across Saudi Arabia. The role involves conducting inspections in accordance with approved drawings, ITPs, welding procedures, project specifications, applicable codes, and Saudi Aramco requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect welding and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, WPS/PQR, and project standards.

• Perform fit-up, welding, visual, dimensional, and final inspections of piping, structures, equipment, and related components.

• Verify welder qualifications, welding consumables, joint preparation, preheating, interpass temperature, and welding parameters.

• Review and verify WPS, PQR, welder qualification records, MTCs, and welding documentation.

• Coordinate and monitor NDT activities, including RT, UT, MT, and PT, as applicable.

• Identify welding defects and non-conformities and ensure appropriate NCR/corrective action and timely closure.

• Maintain inspection reports, weld maps, inspection records, test reports, and QA/QC documentation.

• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and third-party inspectors during inspection activities.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and applicable international welding codes and specifications.

• Support mechanical completion, punch-list clearance, dossier preparation, and project handover activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

• 6+ years of relevant experience as a QC Welding Inspector.

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant Gulf experience.

• Valid CBT certification, where applicable.

• Valid Saudi Aramco approval or proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects.

• Strong knowledge of WPS/PQR, welding inspection, ITP, NDT, QA/QC documentation, and welding codes/standards.

• Knowledge of applicable Saudi Aramco project specifications and international standards.

• Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia will be given priority.

• Open to candidates from India, Pakistan, Philippines, and eligible local-transfer candidates; Saudi Nationals are not eligible.
