The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Part-Time MYP Individuals & Societies Teacher to join our Secondary team. The successful candidate will primarily teach Individuals & Societies within the IB Middle Years Programme, supporting the delivery of a broad, engaging and inquiry-driven curriculum. We are particularly interested in an adaptable teacher who is comfortable teaching across the I&S curriculum and can develop students’ critical thinking, research, communication and analytical skills through relevant real-world and global contexts. Experience within an IB MYP environment is highly desirable. Candidates with a specialism in Business, Economics, Humanities, Geography, History or another related I&S discipline are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: • Plan and deliver high-quality MYP Individuals & Societies lessons. • Use inquiry-based and concept-driven approaches aligned with the IB MYP. • Maintain high expectations for student achievement, engagement and behaviour. • Use assessment and feedback effectively to support student progress. • Contribute to collaborative planning and curriculum development within the I&S department. • Develop students’ critical thinking, research and communication skills. • Contribute positively to the wider Secondary team as appropriate to the part-time nature of the role.
