We would love to hear from you. At Euro Mechanical, Finance is a true business partner to our Operations teams. As our Management Accountant, you will support a defined Business Unit, help leaders understand what is driving performance, and play a real part in the decisions that shape our projects. It is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with genuine room to learn and grow. What you will do • Act as a finance business partner to your Business Unit(s), building strong and trusted relationships between Operations and Finance • Prepare monthly Business Unit management accounts and present them to key stakeholders, in line with IFRS, local accounting and tax requirements, and internal policies • Deliver gross margin analysis, compare results to budget, and flag upside and downside risks early • Provide clear insight into Business Unit performance through effective KPIs • Prepare quarterly and ad hoc forecasts, and the annual budget to net profit with a supporting analysis pack • Evaluate investment proposals and support hire-versus-buy decisions with financial and commercial analysis • Apply sound knowledge of import and export processes, including documentation and Incoterms, and assess their financial and commercial impact • Provide weekly cashflow analysis of receivables and payables, and lead the weekly customer collection review meetings through to completion of actions • Report regularly on ICV status, including the improvement plan, current score and retention balances • Support project accounting and profitability reporting • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with the financial reporting calendar • Maintain process notes and control documents, and follow best practice, financial standards, internal controls and governance • Review and sign off relevant journals and sales invoices prepared within the team • Support periodic inventory and fixed asset counts, which may take place outside usual working hours What you will bring • A globally recognised chartered accounting qualification • At least 3 years of operational finance experience, ideally in the Energy or Construction sectors • Project accounting experience (preferred) • Confident use of Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite • Experience with Dynamics 365 (an advantage) • An analytical, problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of organisation • Integrity, discretion and a genuine desire to collaborate • A self-starter attitude, with a keen interest to keep developing your skills and knowledge Why join us You will work with experienced Finance and Operations colleagues, report to our Finance Lead with functional reporting to the CFO, and gain wide exposure across projects, Business Units and senior stakeholders.
