## Description

Junior Accountant (Temporary Contract | 3–6 Months)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our Finance team on a temporary 3–6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, strong reconciliation skills, and practical experience with Oracle ERP/Oracle Financials.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.

- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.

- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.

- Reconcile supplier, customer, intercompany, and general ledger accounts.

- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.

- Review and reconcile prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and employee advances.

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

- Verify invoices, expense claims, and supporting documentation.

- Support VAT-related accounting and compliance requirements.

- Generate financial reports and maintain data accuracy within Oracle ERP.

- Assist in audit preparation by providing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents.

- Identify discrepancies and work closely with stakeholders to resolve accounting issues promptly.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 1–3 years of accounting experience.

- Mandatory experience with Oracle ERP/Oracle Financials.

- Strong experience in account reconciliations and month-end close activities.

- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Immediate joiners preferred.
