## Description

Job Summary

Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our project supervision team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical works on building projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, authority requirements, and applicable UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installation works at site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.

• Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, MEP teams, and other disciplines to resolve site issues.

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.

• Ensure electrical works comply with relevant UAE authority regulations and project requirements.

• Review and comment on technical documents, RFIs, inspection requests, and as-built drawings.

• Monitor project progress and report electrical-related issues to the Senior Engineer / Resident Engineer.

• Participate in testing and commissioning activities and verify completed works.

• Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved health, safety, and quality procedures.

• Maintain proper inspection records, site reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and building construction projects.

• Experience in consultancy / supervision is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including LV systems, power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, earthing, and related building services.

• Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, specifications, and authority requirements.

• Ability to review drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.

• Strong site supervision, coordination, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in relevant engineering and documentation software.
