Job Description: Principal Enterprise Data & AI Architect

Experience: 18+ Years

Focus: Data Modernization, AI Architecture & Azure Migration

Geography: UAE / Hybrid

Location: Dubai

Notice Period: Immediate joiners to 15 days

• Enterprise Architecture Strategy: Define and standardize modern enterprise data and AI architectures utilizing Azure Data Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.

• Lakehouse & MDM Frameworks: Design high-scale Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Master Data Management (MDM) architectures with centralized data lineage and cataloguing.

• Data Modelling & Mapping: Analyse complex legacy source and target data models, entity relationships, and schema evolutions for large-scale cloud migrations.

• High-Throughput ETL/ELT Engineering: Architect fault-tolerant, streaming, and batch ETL/ELT data pipelines for multi-platform data extraction, transformation, and ingestion into Azure.

• GenAI & ML Platform Integration: Architect scalable Generative AI ecosystems (LLM integration, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, vector search) and MLOps platforms with unified governance.

• Quality, Profiling & Reconciliation: Implement automated data profiling, cleansing routines, rule-based validation, and multi-tier reconciliation frameworks to guarantee zero data loss.

• Data Governance, Security & UAE Compliance: Enforce fine-grained security (RBAC/ABAC, encryption, Microsoft Purview) ensuring strict adherence to UAE data protection laws and regulatory compliance.

• Cutover Planning & Migration Lifecycle: Orchestrate end-to-end migration runbooks, cutover execution, rollback strategies, and operational handovers across application and QA teams.

• Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Resolve distributed compute bottlenecks and optimize Spark, SQL, and storage performance across petabyte-scale workloads.

• Executive Advisory & UAE Client Management: Serve as the trusted technical authority and strategic advisor for UAE enterprise clients, leading C-suite presentations and steering committee reviews.

• Cross-Functional Delivery Leadership: Lead cross-functional engineering squads, aligning business objectives, data governance councils, and migration sprint deliverables.

• Core Qualifications: 18+ years in Data Architecture & Engineering with proven delivery of large-scale enterprise Azure migrations; relevant certifications (Azure Solutions Architect / Databricks / Snowflake) highly preferred.
