Job Description – Site Engineer (Civil)

Project: High-Rise & Residential Building Construction

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Strong experience in G+12 / high-rise building projects is mandatory/preferred.

We are looking for an experienced and highly competent Civil Engineer with a minimum of 7 + years of UAE construction experience, preferably with experience in G+12 or high-rise building projects.

The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM) requirements, UAE construction standards, site execution, structural and architectural coordination, consultant management, inspections, and project documentation.Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities on site.

Ensure construction works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

Monitor structural, architectural, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil works.

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved schedules.

Identify site issues, technical challenges, and delays and recommend practical solutions.Ensure construction activities comply with Dubai Municipality requirements and applicable UAE regulations.

Coordinate with consultants and relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, and technical requirements.

Strong understanding of DM-approved G+12 building projects and associated construction requirements.Review and interpret structural, architectural, MEP, shop, and detailed construction drawings.

Coordinate with consultants and other disciplines to resolve technical and design conflicts.Ensure construction works meet required quality standards, specifications, and approved materials.Coordinate the closure of NCRs, observations, snagging items, and consultant comments.Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Consultant, Architect, Contractors, and Subcontractors.

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports.

Track site progress against project schedules and identify potential delays.
