## Description

Job Summary

To drive business growth by generating new customers, increasing sales revenue, and developing existing accounts within the freight forwarding market. The role focuses on prospecting, customer visits, lead generation, relationship building, sales conversion and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the UAE freight forwarding and logistics market.

• Conduct cold calls, sales visits, client meetings, and networking activities to acquire new customers.

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.

• Identify potential clients among importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders, and other businesses with logistics requirements.

• Present the company's freight forwarding and logistics services to prospective customers.

• Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with new and existing customers.

• Follow up on leads, enquiries, and sales opportunities to convert prospects into business.

Freight Forwarding Sales

• Promote and generate business for Sea Freight, Air Freight and Land Freight,.

• Understand customer shipping requirements and identify opportunities for suitable logistics solutions.

• Develop new accounts and increase business volumes from existing customers.

• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the company's logistics services.

• Negotiate commercially with customers to secure profitable business.

• Maintain a strong focus on sales revenue, customer acquisition, and business conversion.

Customer & Market Development

• Regularly visit customers to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.

• Develop relationships with key decision makers and logistics stakeholders.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and customer requirements.

• Identify new industries, market segments, and potential accounts for business development.

• Maintain an updated customer and prospect database in the CRM.

Sales Coordination

• Coordinate with the Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure customer requirements are properly followed up after business is secured.

• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.

• Support customer retention by ensuring a positive experience and identifying opportunities for repeat business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales.

• Proven track record in new business development and achieving sales targets.

• Strong knowledge of the UAE freight forwarding market.

• Existing customer network in the UAE will be a strong advantage.

• Strong lead generation, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

• Strong commercial awareness and customer focused approach.
