## Description

We are hiring for a Civil Estimation Engineer with our client, a construction and contracting company in Dubai.

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Industry: Building construction

Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for civil construction works.

• Carry out quantity take-offs and build cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.

• Request and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates are aligned with project objectives and constraints.

• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits to evaluate project scope and site conditions.

• Keep drawing files and related project documents organized in line with company procedures.

• Contribute to the preparation of tenders, bid packages, and project proposals.

• Track cost trends and offer input on budgeting and forecasting for projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience in civil estimating or related construction roles.

• Solid understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and applicable codes.

• Skilled in estimating software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational abilities.
