Job Description – Assistant Store Manager

Location: Dubai

Industry: Luxury Jewellery Retail

Experience: 8+ Years in Retail, with Luxury Jewellery Experience Preferred

Working Days: 6 Days per Week

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring seamless store operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in team supervision, client engagement, inventory management, and maintaining luxury retail standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Support & Revenue Generation

• Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales targets and KPIs.

• Lead sales activities during the Store Manager's absence.

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling luxury jewellery collections.

• Assist in preparing sales reports and performance analysis.

2. Customer Service & Client Relations

• Deliver personalized service to clients and maintain luxury brand standards.

• Build relationships with repeat and VIP customers.

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service requirements.

• Support CRM initiatives and customer retention programs.

3. Team Supervision

• Assist in training, coaching, and motivating sales associates.

• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing feedback.

• Support onboarding and induction of new team members.

• Ensure adherence to grooming and service standards.

4. Store Operations

• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.

• Conduct regular stock checks and support annual inventory audits.

• Ensure store cleanliness, security, and operational compliance.

5. Visual Merchandising

• Maintain luxury visual merchandising standards.

• Assist with product displays, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

• Ensure product presentation enhances the customer shopping experience.

6. Administrative Responsibilities

• Support scheduling, attendance monitoring, and leave management.

• Prepare operational reports and maintain store documentation.

• Coordinate with head office and support departments when required.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of retail experience, preferably within luxury jewellery, watches, fashion, or premium retail.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Required Skills

• Strong sales and customer service orientation.

• Inventory and stock management knowledge.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with POS systems and retail reporting tools.
