The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and supporting statutory and management reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of Russian GAAP and IFRS, along with hands-on experience using 1C accounting software. Key Responsibilities • Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliation. • Reconcile intra-group balances and investigate and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Support tax return preparation and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulation • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. • Provide financial information and analysis to support business decision-making. • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies. • Stay updated on changes to accounting regulations and tax requirements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience. • Strong practical knowledge of Russian GAAP and IFRS. • Proficiency in 1C accounting software. • Fluency in Russian and English is mandatory. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
