Senior Manager – Business Development | EDGE Commercial

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

EDGE Commercial is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Business Development to drive business growth, develop strategic opportunities and strengthen customer relationships across regional and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies and plans.

• Identify and qualify new markets, customers and opportunities.

• Lead opportunity shaping, capture strategies and customer engagement.

• Build relationships with senior government, defence, security and industry stakeholders.

• Support strategic partnerships, market expansion, proposals and negotiations.

• Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and provide market intelligence.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or a related field.

• 10+ years’ experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, Commercial or Programme Management.

• Knowledge or experience in technologies and products in at least a few of the following areas: integrated C5ISR systems, C5ISR products, multi-intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT, etc), artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, autonomy, missiles, weapons, multi-domain systems and technologies, and tactical systems.

• Knowledge of one or more EDGE clusters, or experience with similar systems: Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, Homeland Security, and Technology and Industrialization

• Experience in the defense sector

• Proven experience in defence, aerospace, advanced technology, security or related sectors.

• Experience across one or more of EDGE’s key capabilities: Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, EDGE Commercial, Homeland Security or Technology.

• Strong commercial, negotiation and opportunity-capture skills.
