Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate documentation of invoices and payments. The role also involves supporting month-end closing activities, coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, and assisting with compliance-related documentation. The Junior Accountant will work closely with senior finance staff to learn and apply accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, formulas, and basic spreadsheets).

• Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow structured workflows.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Relevant educational background such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Prior internship or junior-level experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.

• Familiarity with FMCG or trading environments in the GCC region is a plus.
