The Context

Abu Dhabi Airports, the government entity responsible for managing and developing Abu Dhabi's airport infrastructure including Zayed International Airport, is looking for a Logistics Manager to direct all warehouse operations and logistics activities across its storage locations. The role covers material management, fleet operations, staff leadership, safety compliance, and ERP-driven inventory control within a critical aviation infrastructure environment.

What The Role Covers

Warehouse & Logistics Operations Leadership

You plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse and logistics activities including receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and distribution of materials. You optimize warehouse space utilization, manage scrap handling and disposal processes including scrap tender sales, and oversee maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and machinery.

Team Management & Development

You lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff, conduct regular team meetings, identify training needs, and implement performance improvement initiatives. You measure staff KPIs and provide ongoing performance feedback and development support.

Fleet & Procurement Coordination

You manage Abu Dhabi Airports fleet operations and coordinate with procurement and operational departments to ensure smooth material support across all departments. You resolve operational and material-related issues in collaboration with end-users and procurement teams.

ERP, Inventory Control & Financial Management

You oversee inventory documentation, ERP transactions, and audit records, monitor slow-moving and non-moving items, and manage budgets and statistical and financial records. You monitor outsourced service provider performance against agreed standards.

HSE & Compliance

You organize safety drills, promote safety awareness in coordination with HSE/AES teams, support risk assessment reviews, and ensure adherence to HSE procedures with corrective actions addressed promptly.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent

• Specialized training in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Inventory Management

• 7+ years in a supervisory role within warehouse operations, logistics, or related field

• Strong practical knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics systems

• ERP system proficiency with solid MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

• Knowledge of warehouse safety systems, first aid, and fire prevention practices

• English and Arabic language skills — written and spoken

• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities
