About The Job An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter to join Food & Beverage in Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: • Must be comfortable discussing food and wine choices with guests in detail. • To control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment. • To ensure the food pick up and service is impeccable and completed in a timely manner. • Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system. • Responsible for setting up tables, serving food and beverage to guests, and clearing/cleaning tables. • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
