## Description

Project Manager (On-Site Role) for Military Event

About the Role

Vibes Events is seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale military event in Liwa, Abu Dhabi on behalf of Capital 360. You will work closely with the Director of Project from mobilisation through to installation, event delivery, and full dismantling. This is a predominantly site-based role requiring strong subcontractor management, physical site presence, and the ability to independently manage all site activities whenever the Director is unavailable. The candidate must be proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing complex on-site operations safely and to the highest quality standards.

Location: Liwa, Abu Dhabi (Remote Site)

Client: Capital 360

Reporting To: Director of Project

Contract Period: 3 Months (23 September – 23 December)

Working Hours: Project-based; evenings and weekends required during critical phases

What You'll Do

Site Supervision & Programme Management

• Maintain a strong physical presence on site, regularly inspecting ongoing works across all areas rather than operating from the site office

• Monitor the project programme and ensure all activities remain on schedule; immediately escalate any delays, resource shortages, or risks to the Director of Project

• Oversee daily site activities and ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

• Monitor works involving grandstands, scaffolding, temporary structures, and other event infrastructure from installation through to dismantling

Subcontractor Coordination & H&S

• Coordinate with subcontractor Project Managers, suppliers, and stakeholders on mobilisation, manpower, materials, equipment, delivery sequences, and dismantling activities

• Proactively follow up with subcontractors on recovery actions, pending works, snags, and critical deliverables

• Ensure appropriate Health & Safety measures are followed at all times and immediately escalate any unsafe practices or site conditions

Reporting, Snagging & Close-Out

• Attend daily site coordination meetings and provide a concise daily progress report covering completed works, current progress, delays/risks, critical issues, and next-day activities

• Support snagging, inspections, testing, handover, and final project close-out following the event on 21 & 22 December 2026

• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all security and access-control requirements applicable to the military event

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Project/Site Management experience within large-scale events, temporary structures, exhibitions, or similar site environments

• Experience with grandstands, scaffolding, and temporary structures is strongly preferred

• Ability to read and understand drawings, layouts, specifications, and project programmes

• Strong subcontractor management, project planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a sound understanding of site H&S requirements

• Bilingual – English and Arabic (mandatory); strong daily reporting and communication skills

• UAE event/project experience preferred; military, government, or high-security project experience is a significant advantage

• Valid UAE driving licence preferred; must hold valid UAE documents and be available for the full assignment period

Site & Working Conditions

• This is a hands-on, predominantly outdoor role in Liwa. The Project Manager is expected to spend the majority of working hours supervising activities across the site, not from the office.

• The candidate must be comfortable working outdoors under direct sunlight and challenging weather conditions, with flexibility for extended hours, evenings, and weekends during critical phases.

• Accommodation and meals would be provided.

• Strict compliance with H&S, security, confidentiality, and site regulations is mandatory throughout the assignment.
