For our site office in Dubai, we are looking for Civil Engineer (Utilities) - 100% (m/f) The ideal candidate will be an experienced civil engineer with strong capability in wet and dry utility networks. The role requires technical review, authority coordination and effective management of interfaces across congested infrastructure corridors. Responsibilities: • Review designs, calculations, drawings and technical submittals for stormwater, sewerage, potable water, chilled water and fire-main networks. • Review dry-utility civil works, including power and telecommunications duct banks, draw pits, chambers and associated crossings. • Assess pipework materials, jointing, bedding, surround, deflection limits, thrust restraint and installation requirements. • Review manholes, valve chambers and utility structures, ensuring coordinated levels, access, maintainability and constructability. • Resolve utility crossings and interfaces with roads, structures, landscaping, buildings and MEP systems using coordinated drawings and models. • Review pressure, leakage and infiltration tests, CCTV surveys, technical queries, method statements and non-conformance proposals. • Support utility connections, no-objection certificates and approvals with relevant authorities and service providers. • Maintain review registers, monitor programme risks and coordinate with BIM, design, site and document-control teams through close-out.
