## Description

We are hiring an AI Strategy Director for a leading investment organization in the UAE.

This is a business-focused AI role, not a hands-on engineering or coding position.

The Director will identify practical AI opportunities across a diverse portfolio of companies and within the investment team.

The mandate

• Improve productivity and reduce costs using AI

• Develop AI-enabled products and revenue opportunities

• Build business cases for AI investments

• Help portfolio companies adopt practical AI solutions

• Improve investment processes using AI tools

• Measure the financial and operational impact

What we are looking for

• Approximately 10 to 12 years of business and technology experience

• Background in MBB, Big Four or a leading Tier 2 consultancy, with experience in private equity, capital markets or portfolio value creation, and a strong specialization in AI-led transformation.

• Strong knowledge of AI capabilities and business applications

• Experience identifying, assessing and enabling AI use cases

• Ability to build business cases with clear costs, benefits and returns

• Confidence working with senior executives and portfolio-company leaders

• Strong stakeholder, vendor and change-management skills

• Comfortable connecting business requirements with technical teams

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology or a related field

• MBA or master’s degree in technology or AI is an advantage

This role does not require someone to personally build AI systems.

The successful candidate must understand AI well enough to:

• Identify where it can create measurable value

• Challenge technical teams and vendors

• Assess commercial feasibility

• Guide adoption

• Hold stakeholders accountable for results
