## Description

FARZ, part of Imdaad Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Operations to lead and continuously improve our waste management and recycling plant operations in Dubai.

The role will be responsible for driving plant productivity, availability, material recovery, RDF production, product quality, landfill diversion and operational profitability, while ensuring strong standards of safety, compliance and workforce performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead overall plant operations and operational workforce.

• Maximize plant availability, throughput, recyclable recovery and landfill diversion.

• Drive RDF production and quality standards.

• Improve operational efficiency and control cost per ton / P&L performance.

• Coordinate closely with maintenance teams to minimize breakdowns and improve equipment availability.

• Lead manpower planning, productivity, performance management and competency development.

• Support implementation of new technologies, processing capabilities and waste-stream opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, EHSQ and operational requirements.

• Support the General Manager in plant improvement and expansion initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in a managerial role with team and P&L responsibility.

• Strong experience in waste management, recycling, material recovery facilities, industrial plant operations or similar processing environments.

• Proven track record managing plant performance, productivity, maintenance coordination and large operational teams.

• Strong understanding of budgeting, P&L and operational cost management.

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• PMP / Master’s degree would be an advantage.
