Job Description

WE’RE HIRING – DUBAI

Dubai Municipality Portal Specialist – Civil Engineer / Draftsman

DATUM General Contracting L.L.C is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer or Draftsman with strong practical experience in Dubai Municipality engineering systems and Dubai Building Platform (BPS).

The main requirement for this position is hands-on experience with Dubai Municipality portals. The selected candidate should be able to independently handle submissions, permits, inspections, follow-ups, comments, and approvals related to our construction projects in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle Dubai Municipality portal and BPS submissions.

* Prepare, submit, and follow up Building Permit and Building Control applications.

* Submit and follow up inspection requests.

* Handle engineering drawings and technical/document submissions through Dubai BPS.

* Follow up Municipality comments, rejections, resubmissions, and approvals until closure.

* Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and relevant authorities.

* Maintain proper records and status tracking for all Municipality submissions.

* Review documents before submission and identify any missing requirements.

* Support the project team with Dubai Municipality procedures and technical requirements.

* Assist with drawings and technical documentation when required.

Requirements:

* Civil Engineer or Draftsman background.

* Strong hands-on experience with Dubai Municipality portals/BPS is mandatory.

* Previous experience with a contracting company in Dubai is highly preferred.

* Good knowledge of Building Permit and Building Control procedures.

* Practical experience with Municipality inspection requests and follow-up.

* Experience with engineering drawings and document submissions.

* Good knowledge of AutoCAD and construction drawings.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Able to independently follow applications from initial submission until final approval.

* Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

* Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Salary:

AED 5,000 – 7,000 per month, depending on experience and practical knowledge of Dubai Municipality/BPS systems.
