## Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong experience in the Contracting Industry and hands-on knowledge of ERP accounting software. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, project-related accounts, financial records, and reporting.

Salary Dhs. 5,000 to 6,000

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger.

• Handle project-wise accounting and cost tracking.

• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.

• Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts, including reconciliation and payment follow-up.

• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.

• Monitor project expenses and assist with budget and cost control.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting statements.

• Assist with VAT calculations, filings, and related documentation.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the ERP system.

• Coordinate with project, procurement, HR, and management teams regarding financial matters.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable UAE regulations.

• Support auditors during internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the Contracting Industry.

• Strong knowledge of contracting/project accounting and cost control.

• Hands-on experience with ERP accounting software is mandatory.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• UAE experience is preferred.
