About the Company

One of the UAE’s leading insurance brokerage firms is seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to join its growing team. The company provides a comprehensive range of insurance and risk-management solutions to corporate and individual clients across the UAE.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and expansion of existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the UAE insurance market, a proven business-development track record, and an established professional network.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across target market segments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, decision-makers, insurers, and strategic partners.

• Develop and execute business-development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.

• Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.

• Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and commercial discussions.

• Understand clients’ insurance and risk-management requirements and coordinate with internal teams to develop suitable solutions.

• Work closely with underwriting, broking, claims, and operations teams to ensure high-quality client service.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the UAE insurance sector.

• Achieve agreed revenue, new-business, and portfolio-growth targets.

• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, client interactions, and sales forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• 3+ years of proven business-development or sales experience, preferably within insurance brokerage, insurance, financial services, or a related sector.

• Strong understanding of the UAE insurance market and regulatory environment.

• Existing network of corporate clients and/or industry relationships in the UAE is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to originate, negotiate, and close new business.

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

• Commercially driven with a consultative approach to client acquisition.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

• UAE market experience is essential; relevant insurance qualifications will be an advantage.
