We are looking for a Deputy Chief Procurement Officer to play a crucial role in managing and optimizing procurement strategies for large-scale real estate and construction projects. This key leadership role requires deep expertise in procurement packages, a strong understanding of government workflows, and a background in Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Manage procurement packages, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets etc

• Oversee sourcing and contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ESG principles.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline procurement processes.

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Lead procurement planning, negotiation, and contract management for large-scale real estate projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

• CIPS certification (or equivalent) is a plus.

• 15+ years of experience in procurement within real estate and construction procurement.

• Extensive experience working with developers in the UAE is essential.

• Strong negotiation, leadership, strategic planning and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in managing and developing procurement teams.

• Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and industry best practices.
