## Description

Sous Chef – Sirene by GAIA

Location: Dubai, UAE

Sirene by GAIA is looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join its culinary team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mediterranean and/or Greek cuisine, combined with experience in high-end restaurants, luxury dining concepts. This role requires a hands-on culinary professional who can support the Head Chef in maintaining exceptional standards across food quality, consistency, presentation, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations

• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency

• Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team

• Ensure recipes, preparation methods, and presentation standards are consistently followed

• Manage kitchen organization, mise en place, stock levels, and food waste

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards

• Support menu development and contribute creative ideas where required

• Maintain smooth kitchen operations during high-volume service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a high-end restaurant or premium dining environment is required

• Strong knowledge and experience in Mediterranean and/or Greek cuisine

• Excellent culinary, leadership, and organizational skills

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and consistency
