## Description

Role Description This full-time, on-site Cashier role at Emplea.pe is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, handling cash, card, and digital payments, and issuing receipts while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Day-to-day duties include greeting customers, answering basic inquiries, resolving payment issues, balancing the cash drawer at the end of shifts, and following established procedures for returns, exchanges, and discounts. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, complying with company policies and local regulations, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated cash-handling accuracy and basic math skills for processing payments and balancing the register.

• Strong customer service and communication skills to engage courteously with a diverse clientele.

• Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and learn new payment technologies quickly.

• Attention to detail and reliability in following established procedures and maintaining transaction records.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced environment with a calm, professional approach.

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar cashier/front desk role is preferred.

• Basic proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in the UAE is an advantage.

• High school diploma or equivalent education, and eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.
