Requirements:

• Minimum five years’ operations experience within a crypto exchange, VASP, fintech, payments firm, brokerage, bank, custodian or comparable regulated financial-services business.

• Hands-on experience managing transaction operations, settlements, reconciliations, cash or asset movements, operational controls and exception resolution.

• Strong understanding of virtual-asset transaction lifecycles, wallets, custody, blockchain confirmations and fiat on/off-ramp processes.

• Experience developing SOPs, control frameworks, management reporting, incident-management processes and auditable records.

• UAE regulated financial-services experience and familiarity with local operational and regulatory expectations; direct VARA exposure is strongly preferred.

• Experience coordinating with Compliance, Finance, Product, Technology, Legal and external providers such as banks, custodians and payment partners.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with spreadsheets, dashboards, workflow tools and reconciliation data.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design, document and maintain WhiteBIT UAE’s operating model, SOPs, control checklists, escalation procedures and service-level standards.

• Coordinate operational readiness for VARA licensing and market launch, including process testing, evidence packs and remediation of operational gaps.

• Manage end-to-end client operations, including onboarding hand-offs, account activation, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, settlement, queries and exceptions.

• Oversee daily controls and reconciliations across client ledgers, bank accounts, payment partners, custodians, wallets and blockchain records.

• Maintain controls for client money and virtual assets, including segregation, safeguarding, approvals, maker-checker controls and audit trails.

• Coordinate operational relationships and workflows with banks, custodians, liquidity providers, payment partners and other key service providers.

• Own operational incident management, including escalation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and stakeholder communication.

• Work closely with Compliance on CDD/EDD workflows, transaction-monitoring escalations, Travel Rule exceptions, complaints and regulatory information requests.

• Coordinate with Finance on treasury operations, cash and asset movements, fees, liquidity requirements and month-end controls.

• Monitor service levels, volumes, turnaround times, exceptions, complaints and partner performance, providing regular management reporting.

• Maintain accurate and retrievable operational records and support business-continuity and disaster-recovery planning and testing.
