We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist who enjoys working with people and genuinely loves pets. About the Role As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and their pets. You will help create a welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of the branch. The ideal candidate has previous customer-facing experience, excellent English communication skills, a positive attitude, and is comfortable working around pets. Key Responsibilities • Welcome customers and their pets in a friendly and professional manner. • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and customer inquiries. • Manage bookings and appointments for grooming, daycare, boarding, training, transport, and other services. • Coordinate with the branch team to ensure bookings and daily schedules run smoothly. • Provide customers with updates about their pets when required. • Share photos and videos with customers when requested. • Explain services, appointments, and relevant information clearly to customers. • Process basic payments, invoices, and receipts accurately. • Maintain accurate customer and pet information in the system. • Follow up with customers regarding bookings and appointments. • Handle customer questions and concerns professionally. • Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming. • Support the team with general customer service and administrative tasks when required. Requirements • Previous experience in customer service, reception, front office, hospitality, retail, healthcare, or another customer-facing role. • Excellent spoken and written English. • Friendly and confident communication style. • Good telephone and WhatsApp communication skills. • Basic computer skills and ability to learn booking systems. • Good organisation and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks during busy periods. • Positive and professional attitude. • Comfortable working around dogs and other pets. • Genuine interest and love for animals. • Previous experience in the pet industry, veterinary, grooming, boarding, daycare, or similar businesses is an advantage.
