## Description

Join a dynamic UAE-based activewear startup as a fractional e-commerce operations manager for a three-month, part-time freelance engagement starting mid-September 2026. This remote role focuses on overseeing daily e-commerce operations, ensuring seamless sales, inventory, fulfilment, and customer service processes on Shopify. You will play a key part in optimizing operational efficiency and supporting the growth of a fast-paced online retail business. Please note, this is not a website development or design position; all technical aspects of the Shopify site are managed by a separate team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including order processing, inventory management, fulfilment, and logistics

• Manage customer service, returns, and exchanges to ensure a positive customer experience

• Monitor and report on sales performance, inventory levels, and operational KPIs

• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and suppliers to maintain efficient workflows

• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency

• Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns and product launches

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
