## Description

Tier 1 Contractor | Hospitality & High End Residential | UAE

Our client is a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering high profile hospitality and luxury residential projects across the UAE. They are seeking an experienced Technical Director to oversee technical delivery, quality standards, and site compliance across their portfolio.

About the role

You will lead technical operations on major hospitality and residential developments, ensuring compliance with design intent, building codes, and contractual requirements. Your responsibilities will span project mobilisation, technical problem solving, quality assurance, and site leadership. This role demands strong technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive standards across multi-disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

* Lead technical delivery and quality outcomes across assigned projects

* Oversee technical specifications, material standards, and workmanship compliance

* Manage technical meetings, RFIs, and design coordination

* Drive problem resolution on complex technical issues

* Ensure adherence to project programmes and quality KPIs

* Mentor and develop technical teams

* Liaise with consultants, clients, and specialist contractors

About you

* Extensive experience as Technical Director, Technical Manager, or Head of Technical on major build projects

* Strong background in hospitality, high end residential, or mixed use development

* Experience working across both PMC and contracting environments

* Deep understanding of architectural specifications and construction standards

* Proven track record on fast track or complex projects

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

* UAE experience essential
