## Description

Commercial Business Development Specialist – Polyurethane

Dubai, UAE | Middle East & Africa

We are currently supporting a fast-growing international manufacturer of polyurethane materials and speciality chemical solutions with the appointment of a Techno-Commercial Business Development Specialist based in Dubai.

This is a newly created opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of business development across the Middle East & Africa (MEA), identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and supporting the continued growth of a growing polyurethane portfolio.

The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial development, working closely with customers to understand their requirements, identify appropriate material solutions and convert technical opportunities into long-term business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing new business opportunities across the MEA region

• Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and strategic accounts

• Identifying new markets, applications and commercial opportunities

• Managing the sales process from initial engagement through to commercial development

• Providing technical and application support to customers

• Working with customers on product trials and technical requirements

• Collaborating with internal R&D, technical and commercial teams to develop customer-specific solutions

• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities

• Supporting the expansion of the company's polyurethane technologies across the region

Target Background

We are particularly interested in professionals with experience within polyurethane, polymers or specialty chemicals, combined with a strong commercial or business development track record.

Relevant product experience could include:

• Polyurethane / PU

• Polyols

• TPU

• PU Systems

• PU Resins

• PU Adhesives

• PU Coatings

• Waterborne Polyurethane

• Synthetic / Artificial Leather

• Footwear Materials

Existing experience across the Middle East and/or Africa would be particularly advantageous, although strong international candidates with relevant market and product expertise will also be considered.
