## Description

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary operation of a new Mediterranean restaurant concept.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Mediterranean cuisine, open-fire cooking and grill, with a proven track record of pre-opening restaurants and building high-performing kitchen teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the complete kitchen pre-opening and opening process

* Develop and execute a Mediterranean-focused menu with a strong emphasis on grill and open-fire cooking

* Establish recipes, SOPs, food specifications, portion controls and kitchen systems

* Recruit, train and manage the kitchen team

* Oversee daily kitchen operations, quality, consistency and food presentation

* Manage food costs, waste, inventory and supplier relationships

* Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

* Work closely with management on menu development, costing and kitchen setup

* Manage kitchen trials, tastings and soft-opening operations

* Maintain high standards of service, consistency and culinary execution

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Head Chef / Executive Chef

* Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine

* Extensive experience with grills, charcoal and open-fire cooking

* Previous pre-opening experience is essential
