Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and expanding the company’s presence in local and international markets. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, generate and qualify leads, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts aligned with POA.ae’s service offerings. Daily activities include collaborating with internal teams to refine service propositions, tracking sales performance, and providing regular reports and forecasts to management. The role also involves representing the company at events and meetings, ensuring a high standard of client service and contributing to long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and account management skills with a track record of meeting growth targets.

• Experience in client relationship management, networking, and stakeholder engagement, ideally within legal, corporate, or professional services.

• Solid analytical and research skills for market analysis, lead generation, and opportunity assessment.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; Arabic or other language skills are a plus.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good understanding of UAE business environment; familiarity with legal documentation or legal or corporate services is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are beneficial.

• Previous experience in a similar role in the UAE or GCC region is preferred, with comfort working in an on-site, client-facing environment.
