What you'll do: • Manage the day-to-day performance, availability, and utilization of the EV fleet supporting last-mile deliveries, ensuring high vehicle uptime and readiness across all delivery hubs and darkstores. • Monitor vehicle health, range efficiency, and operational metrics, and establish processes for EV allocation, rider assignment, and fleet rotation. • Oversee the deployment, capacity planning, and maintenance of charging infrastructure, ensuring alignment with rider shifts and operational demand while optimizing charging schedules to minimize downtime and electricity costs. • Coordinate with facility teams and external vendors to support infrastructure upgrades and ensure reliable charging operations. • Manage relationships with EV manufacturers, battery providers, charging vendors, and leasing partners, ensuring adherence to service level agreements related to vehicle availability, maintenance, and warranty claims. • Lead procurement initiatives and vendor negotiations to support EV fleet expansion and cost optimization. • Implement preventive maintenance programs, monitor repair turnaround times and maintenance costs, and work with service partners to resolve issues quickly and minimize fleet downtime. • Support leadership in scaling the EV fleet and evaluate emerging technologies to help develop a long-term roadmap for sustainable last-mile mobility.
