The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spaces About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Executive to join our hotel Jumeirah Mina Al Salam The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Ensure the hostess desk or restaurant entrance is always manned, providing a warm, friendly, and prompt welcome to all guests. • Manage restaurant reservations, bookings, parties, and special requests accurately and in line with established SOPs and standards. • Greet and escort guests to their tables, maintaining strong knowledge of menus, dishes, beverages, and restaurant offerings to confidently answer enquiries. • Identify and respond to guest needs and complaints, providing appropriate solutions and gathering feedback to enhance the guest experience. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant layout, table numbers, services, local information, and daily operations to support smooth and efficient service. • Handle telephone enquiries professionally, accurately update guest profiles and reservation information, and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of menus, wine lists, and guest materials. About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: • High school diploma or secondary education required; a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality is desirable. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with MICROS and restaurant reservation systems is an advantage. • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a courteous, empathetic, proactive, and professional approach to guests. • Excellent teamwork, organization, active listening, and cultural awareness, with a professional appearance aligned with Jumeirah grooming standards.
