We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Swimming Pool to oversee the execution, installation and completion of swimming pool works across our construction projects.

Job Summary

The Site Engineer – Swimming Pool will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all swimming pool construction activities, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day swimming pool construction and installation works at project sites.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, MEP teams and other project stakeholders.

• Review and interpret shop drawings, construction drawings, specifications and method statements.

• Ensure proper execution of swimming pool civil and finishing works.

• Coordinate swimming pool structure, waterproofing, tiling, coping, finishes and associated works.

• Coordinate with MEP teams for pool filtration, circulation, drainage, pumps, piping, lighting and other pool-related systems.

• Monitor setting-out, levels, dimensions and alignment of swimming pool structures.

• Ensure proper surface preparation and application of waterproofing systems.

• Coordinate water-tightness and other required testing and inspections.

• Monitor materials delivered to site and ensure compliance with approved material specifications.

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and ensure timely approvals.

• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower and daily progress.

• Identify construction issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.

• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records and relevant site documentation.

• Ensure works are completed within the approved project schedule and quality requirements.

• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project standards.

• Support snagging, testing, commissioning and final handover of swimming pool works.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in swimming pool construction.

• Previous experience with a specialized swimming pool contractor/company is strongly preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of United Arab Emirates/GCC construction experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of swimming pool construction, waterproofing, tiling, finishes and associated civil works.

• Good understanding of swimming pool MEP systems, filtration and circulation systems.

• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings.

• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and MEP teams.

• Strong knowledge of construction quality and site safety requirements.

• Valid United Arab Emirates Driving Licence is preferred/required, depending on project requirements.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates currently available in the United Arab Emiratesare preferred.
