## Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting the company’s financial planning and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.

• Monitor and analyze financial transactions, identifying discrepancies and ensuring corrective actions.

• Handle VAT filings, ensure compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements, and maintain proper documentation.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules and reports.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and reporting accuracy.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT laws, and local compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
