The Context

IBM Consulting, one of the most recognized technology and consulting firms globally with a deep SAP partnership and strong regional footprint, is looking for a seasoned SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP program delivery in the UAE. The role is fully on-site in Abu Dhabi, with a focus on large enterprise and government clients, sitting at the senior delivery level within IBM's SAP practice.

What The Role Covers

End-to-End SAP Program Delivery

You own full lifecycle delivery of SAP implementations from design and build through testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. You serve as the single point of accountability for project outcomes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards using SAP Activate methodology.

Cross-Stream Leadership

You lead cross-functional SAP teams spanning functional, technical, data, integration, and Basis streams. You manage dependencies, risks, and change control across the full project lifecycle, coordinating multiple workstreams simultaneously in complex program environments.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

You drive project governance, own executive-level reporting, and lead steering committee engagements. You manage senior client relationships and support timely decision-making at the highest organizational levels, including direct engagement with government and large enterprise stakeholders.

Landscape & Contractual Compliance

You ensure full alignment with contractual scope, milestones, and acceptance criteria. You manage system integrators and SAP directly, ensuring compliance with both SAP standards and client-specific organizational requirements including RISE with SAP and cloud-hosted landscapes.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree

• Proven track record leading multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations — ECC and S/4HANA mandatory

• Deep functional and/or technical expertise across multiple SAP modules

• Strong understanding of S/4HANA capabilities, roadmap, and migration strategies

• RISE with SAP and cloud-hosted SAP landscape experience required

• Exposure to government or large enterprise programs strongly preferred

• SAP certifications (Activate, Agile) and Project Management certification (PMP or Prince2) required

• Arabic speaking is a significant advantage

• Prior delivery experience in MEA, particularly KSA and UAE, highly valued

• Oil & gas and public sector client experience is a strong differentiator
