Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an experienced Engineer – Mechanical Completion (E&I) to support oil & gas, offshore, marine, and EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical Completion activities, conducting E&I system walkdowns, managing punch lists, verifying inspection and test records, and ensuring systems are ready for safe handover to the commissioning team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Mechanical Completion activities for Electrical & Instrumentation systems.

• Perform system walkdowns and prepare/close punch list items.

• Verify installation, inspection, testing, calibration, and completion records.

• Review Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs) and turnover documentation.

• Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Client representatives.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, ITPs, and international standards.

• Support system handover and commissioning readiness activities.

• Prepare Mechanical Completion reports and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Completion, E&I Construction, QA/QC, or Commissioning within the Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, or EPC industry.

• Experience with Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs), punch list management, and system turnover.

• Familiarity with P&IDs, Loop Drawings, Single Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and commissioning documentation.

• Knowledge of E&I testing activities, including loop checks, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, and instrument calibration.

• Familiarity with IEC, ISA, API, ASME, and relevant industry standards.

• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
