Role Description The Civil Engineer will support real estate development and asset enhancement projects by designing, planning, and overseeing civil works related to infrastructure, utilities, and site development. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai involves preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project requirements. The Civil Engineer will coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, and government authorities, contributing to feasibility assessments, cost estimates, and technical reports. Day-to-day tasks include site inspections, monitoring construction progress, addressing technical issues, and optimizing stormwater management and other civil systems to support high-quality, sustainable developments. The role also requires maintaining clear documentation, supporting value engineering initiatives, and contributing to timely project delivery in line with SRJ REAL ESTATE/ Allied Building Contracting L.L.C’s standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills relevant to infrastructure, site development, and high rise building, residential and commercial projects.

• Candidates should possess experience as Civil Engineers with proven abilities in Planning and project coordination.

• Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage and utility systems in urban environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or registration is an advantage.

• Familiarity with UAE building codes, local authority requirements, and construction standards, preferably within Dubai.

• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2D, Civil 3D or similar) and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an added benefit.
