Antal International is collaborating with one of the leading government entities in Abu Dhabi seeking to hire a Legal Counsel / Associate Legal Counsel (depending on experience). This role is only for local Nationals.

Budget: AED 40,000 - 45,000 + Education Allowance + Benefits

Note: Preferred candidates having work Legal Counsel experience with Technology, Finance or government related entities.

Job Purpose:

The Legal Counsel role provides mid-level legal support to “Company” by reviewing, drafting, and advising on corporate, commercial, and operational legal matters. The role ensures contracts, agreements, internal documents, and business activities are aligned with applicable laws, regulatory expectations, internal policies, and Company’s operational requirements, while supporting business continuity and protecting the organization’s interests.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.

• Professional legal qualification, bar admission, or UAE/GCC legal exposure is preferred.

• Minimum 5 –10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate legal, commercial contracts, regulatory or governance support, or in-house legal advisory.

• Experience with technology, financial services, government-related entities, vendor contracting, procurement agreements, outsourcing or secondment arrangements, employment-related legal documentation, or regulated environments is an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract Review and Drafting: Review, draft, and support negotiation of commercial contracts, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, employment-related agreements, vendor agreements, and other legal documents required by “Company”.

• Corporate Legal Advisory : Provide practical legal advice on corporate, governance, procurement, HR, data protection, confidentiality, and operational matters, ensuring advice is clear and suitable for business decision-making.

• Legal Compliance and Risk Management: Identify legal and contractual risks, recommend practical mitigation actions, and ensure agreements and internal practices are aligned with applicable UAE laws, regulatory requirements, and “Company’s policies.

• Governance and Documentation: Support corporate governance activities, maintain legal documentation standards, track legal approvals, and ensure proper version control and record keeping for legal documents.

• Stakeholder and External Counsel Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments, external counsel, regulators, vendors, and Coordinate with internal departments, external counsel, regulators, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to close legal matters in a timely and practical manner.
