Position Summary

The HR Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, retention, and offboarding. Acting as a key partner to business leadership and an advocate for employees, you will design and implement modern HR policies, handle employee relations, manage total rewards, and ensure overall legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR & Workforce Planning

• Partner with senior leadership to align human resources strategies with business objectives.

• Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, cost-per-hire, employee satisfaction) to drive data-informed decisions.

• Drive organizational structure, succession planning, and workforce forecasting.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies, job postings, screening, and interview frameworks to attract top talent.

• Design and refine seamless onboarding programs to ensure higher engagement and faster productivity for new hires.

3. Employee Relations & Culture

• Act as a trusted, neutral advisor to employees and management for resolving workplace issues and grievances.

• Conduct fair, thorough investigations into complex employee relations matters.

• Build employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities to enhance retention.

4. Performance Management & Professional Development

• Manage evaluation frameworks (annual/quarterly reviews, OKRs, KPIs) to drive high performance.

• Coach managers on giving constructive feedback, conducting reviews, and implementing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

• Identify training needs and implement professional development programs across departments.

5. Compensation, Benefits, & Policy

• Oversee total compensation strategies, market salary benchmarking, and benefits enrollment/administration.

• Maintain, update, and enforce the Employee Handbook and corporate policies.

• Manage HRIS software and ensure accurate, confidential employee data tracking.

6. Compliance & Legal Risk

• Ensure strict compliance with local, state/regional, and federal labor laws and regulations.

• Mitigate risk related to labor disputes, terminations, and workplace safety regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum [5+] years of professional experience in Human Resources.

• Minimum [2–3] years in an HR supervisory or managerial role.

• Technical Skills:

• Hands-on proficiency with HRIS systems.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Core Skills:

• Deep knowledge of UAE employment laws and compliance standards.

• Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, and conflict resolution skills.

• High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and ethical decision-making.

Preferred

• Master’s degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPD).

• Track record of scaling an HR department or building programs from scratch.
