## Description

Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager – Contract Logistics (Warehouse Solution) to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for our client's 3PL (third-party logistics) business.

As a consultative sales professional, you will understand client needs and design competitive warehousing (space capacity, storage, fulfillment) and distribution solutions. The role covers the UAE and wider Middle East region, with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across warehousing and distribution services

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients within target markets

• Experience in achieving occupancy of Warehouses & Storage yards

• Conduct needs analysis of client supply chains and propose suitable 3PL solutions

• Provide presales consultation on technical and operational logistics requirements

• Prepare and deliver high-quality commercial and technical proposals

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure

• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms in line with company objectives

• Achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets

• Collaborate with operations, finance and senior management to ensure solution feasibility

• Maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term business growth

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

• 6–8 years of experience in business development or sales within the 3PL / contract logistics industry

• Strong knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations

• Proven experience in contract logistics sales (occupancy of Warehouses) with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in B2B sectors such as metals, FMCG, oil & gas equipment's, retail etc.

• Experience in preparing and presenting commercial and technical proposals to corporate clients

• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work independently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

• Strong command of English; additional regional languages are an advantage
